Evaluation of the blog experience

Hi my friends!! Today is Sunday, last day of the weekend and last evaluated post :( In this last note, I'm going to write my evaluation of this blog experience.

I never had a blog before. I remember watched "Awkard" on MTV, and the main character had a blog and I thought it was a US thing, but when I had to create this blog for the English class, I started to get used to it and to feel affection to my own blog.

First, it's a really good way to practice and learn English grammar. As a lot of people say, the only way to learn things is to do things (and it's true). Maybe my English grammar is not perfect but I "solte la mano" in a Chilean way and that makes me feel very good so I really appreciate this experience.

Secondly, it's a method I never did before in any class ,and I have to say it's was very funny and dinamic. I would really like that this method would be used in the next semester or in other class, because I really enjoy this no-typical way of learn.

And I think the main reason why I like this experience, it's because... wrote about things you like, things you care, things that would be useful to your career, things that are useful to improve your knowledge of English, and things that maybe you never had the opportunity to  think or write about... was really pleasant, was amazing. So I really have affection for my blog, because it's was, at least for a time, a little part of me.

I feel badly putting an end to this, but who knows, this is my blog, and even if it's not evaluated, I can write whenever I want of whatever I want. So maybe this isn't my last post hahaha.

So if you haven't noticed my evaluation of this blog experience is completely positive. So thank you Miss and English 3 for this awesome evaluation hahaha and goodbye to all of you <3

Themed/free post: My life in Santiago city

Well this is the last post of the day and the last free post :( As I said in another posts (but it is always true) it was difficult to me to decide what to write. So I thought that I had talk about me, my family, my friends, the dance and academical things, but I don't had talk about one important thing to me; My life in Santiago city.

Why is important to me this? Because living all my life in one place (Viña del Mar and their surroundings) means live a typical and comun life, and then from one year to another, moving to another city brings a lot of changes in your life.
The fact of come to live to Santiago for academical purposes scared me a lot. I remember the time of the university's postulations and I was very afraid of putting "Universidad de Chile" in first place, even more if I have Public Administration in Valparaiso, but my dad gave me all the strengths to be brave and put my future and what I want to be before the fear.

So I enjoy all the summer with my friends and my family and when the time had come, I had a lot of goodbye parties, and in March of 2015 I arrived to Santiago city.

The first months were awful :( I stayed in a horrible pension, I had lost a lot of weight, I was in strike already, I had no friends and I missed a lot my family and my friends of Viña. Yes, I can travel to Viña del Mar and actually I did it in the time of the strike, but knowing that it wasn't one hundred percent real (that with the return to class I have to return to Santiago) makes me wonder if I was prepared to live in that place or if I could.

With the return to classes and with a little help of time, things started to got better; I moved to live with my aunt so I started to feel less lonely, I started to eat again and with that to win weight, I made friends, and my grades were amazing so my life was again a happy one until today (of course there are bad days but come on is part of life isn't it?)

Well that's the history but in general moving to Santiago means a lot of things;

First come on, have the possibility to study in the best university of the country and a career that I really like it's amazing, it's makes me feel great.

Secondly, stay in the capital it's a dream thing. Here's happen everything. (there's a lot of thing to do, concerts specially--> i love them haha <3)

For third, you feel like an adult. I mean you're alone and you are following your dream and that means deal with all the good and bad things that comes with it.

And this experience makes you win a lot of independence; you have to do all by yourself and take care you of yourself. (that's refers to money, to food, to hours to sleep, to go or not to university, to study or not, to go out and take care of you, and all the things you can imagine)

Finally I want to say that (knowing of course that I travel almost every weekend to Viña del Mar) have two lifes and two cities to live it is awesome <3

A subject I enjoy studying this semester: "Dinamicas de la Administracion publica chilena"

Hi friends! <3 Today I'm gonna write two notes; this first one is about a subject I enjoy studying this semester; "Dinamicas de la Administracion publica chilena".

First I'm gonna say that I like this subject because the contents of the programme permited me understand how the chilean public administration works (I mean, now I read or watch the news and understand how it works everything or a least part of it).

Secondly, I really like the evaluation method; the nots, the tests and the case study put the theoretical things in practice and that's really important so I really appreciate that.

But not everything is rose, the subject has negative things or things I don't like; I love professor Pliscoff but I don't like the way he teaches, I found it boring and I don't like much the idea of reading a lot of texts, and with this subject happens a lot haha

But the main reason why I really enjoy studying this subject this semester, is because of the talks. In this months we visited or had been visited by representatives of differents areas of the chilean public administration and the talk with the Health's Superintendent results a crucial moment in my life, in that talk I realized how much I would really like to work in this field.

That's all I can say about this subject, but I don't wanna leave behind another subject I really enjoy this semester; it's a free subject, Zumba hahaha. I love had the opportunity to practice sport again and even more if that's mean dance. So zumba helps me not missing much dance, and free all the stress the university brings with it.

Career-related website/an expert on your field: OMS-Carmen Castillo

Hi It's Wednesday morning!! Today's theme post is a career related website or an expert on your field. I'm not gonna lie, it's was very difficult to me to decide, but after thinking well I'm gonna talk about the OMS's website and Carmen Castillo, Health's secretary.

The reason why I choose this both things, it's that in the last few days, Health's theme has been all over the medios, specially transplantation, and that made me think that I would really like to work in this area. So consider that this would my personal field, I decide to talk about things related to Health.

First of all I searched a Health's website, and yesterday I remember about the OMS (World Health Organization) and I enter to the website now and I realized it's very useful. It has news, statistics, projects and some other things that could be used in the INE or even in the same Health's Department.

I want to talk about Carmen Castillo too, Health's secretary. She's surgeon doctor of the "Universidad de Chile" and has a magister on public health in the same university. Also has a long career path on Public Health. I would really like be the future secretary of Health's department, so this woman represents a kind of expert on my future field.

Talk about this two things, mades me think of a crucial debate in Public Administration. It's most important the skill, the expertise, the politic? I think that in the minister's position it's important to know technique things and field things, that's why for example in Health's department, the person in charge needs to know Public administration and health things (a nurse or a doctor) or that's what I think.

Well guys it's all for today <3 Thanks for reading.

Themed/free post:La Moral Distraída

Hi everyone it's me again! As I told you, in this days I will be writing all the time, so it was very difficult to me to decide what to tell you today. There's a music group that I have been listening a lot, so I'm going to write about them. Their name is "Moral Distraída".

In April (I think) of this year, there was in Valparaíso a "Welcome Concert" for the PUCV's students and, as many of my friends study in that university they went to the event. In this concert performed "Ases Falsos", "Villa Cariño" and "Moral Distraída". I knew the first two, but the last one I didn't know and my friends neither, but after that concert my friends fell in love with the group and listened all day, so they introduced me the group and their music.

So I started to listened, and little by little I started to fell in love with the group too. Last Wednesday I went to a concert in the "Instituto Nacional" where they were and performed, and I fell in love even more.
*but of all the guys of this group, I'm in love with Camilo Schriever, the percussionist, and I have the luck of having him on facebook, and the day before of this concert I talk with him and in the concert we took a picture together!!!<3)

The group is conformed by ten guys; Camilo Zicavo, Abel Zicavo, Amaru Lopez, Camilo Schriever <3, Javier Ramos, Guille Scherping <3, Mauro Campos and others. They defined their music as "una fiesta pa' tu cuerpo" and they mixed a lot of music styles like "cumbia, hiphop, tropical, etc" and their lyrics talk about things like love, national contingency and life. I think that's why they are having success with the public, because they are fresh, their music is likeable... It's impossible listening them and not fall in love immediately.

Well I think they are really great and I would really like that more people fell in love with them. So I made the invitation to listen them and that's why to finish I'm gonna append my favourite song of them. Bye guys!! <3

My favourite song <3

A photography story...

This is my second and last post of the day, I promised hahaha. Well, now I'm going to tell the story behind this photograph;

It was taken in 2014,January. It's me and one of my closest friend: Nicolas Klenner.

After New Years Eve, me and my friends (Nacha, Nicolas and Isa) travelled to Maitencillo to spend the first days of the year having a good time without parents and only with us, no one knew us there. So, the second day we went to the beach and, as Nicolas and I were dancers or that's what we thought, we decided to make lifts in the beach, and the other girls, Nacha and Isa started to take us photos, and this is the best of all the photographs that were taken.

I liked this photo for three reasons;

1. Reminds me, my time of ballerina, when I can do lifts and spend a really good time doing it.
2. Reminds me that trip hahaha. We were there for three days, but were 3 perfect days <3 After the photo were taken, my friends and I decided to take sun, so we laid in the beach but we forgot to put ourselves sun block and we fell sleep ,so when we woke up we were like tomatos!!! We can not stop laughing and suffering for that hahaha.
3. And of course because it's a perfect picture isn't it?

I'm back: Themed/free post...Something that I love

Oh my god! It's been a long time isn't it? Well I didn't write in all this time because as everybody knows, in Chile there's a student's movement, and my career, my university and a lot of education's centers declared itselfs in strike. But tomorrow, we the EGGP, have to going back to classes, so I'm here ready to write more things about me and my life. I'm back.

This time I'm going to talk about something that I love with all my heart; Dance

My first experience with Dance was when I was a little girl, my parents told me that I had like 3 years old and I stayed in front of the TV and danced all Backstreet Boys songs, they told me that I really enjoyed that. Then I remembered, as the time I had 7-8 years old, that I really loved to dance and I entered in all the groups where I can do it; I danced in a folcklore team, I participated in all school dances, and went with my mom to all entertaining dance classes.

But my relationship with professional dance or Dance as an art started in 2011. That year I entered High School, and in my new school, there was a lot of girls who practiced dance as something more professional and I can't explain how much I love saw that. So I started to imitated this girls but soon, I realized that I needed an academy, a teacher who can teach me that kind of dance.

So I entered to "Casa de la Danza" to learn Contemporary and Ballet. It was the most beautiful time of my life. I felt like a ballerina. I learn a lot and participate in a lot of choreographies and tournaments. I really love that place because the teachers believed in me and demanded more of me every class.

But, every beautiful thing must come to an end. When I was in my senior year in the school, the dance interfered with all my academic things, and I receipt a lot of negative comments of all places: My teachers of the School and the pre-university told me that I have to decide if I want to study Dance or a real career, that I have a precious intelligence that I can not waste it. In the other side my dance's teachers told me that I'm not giving all to dance. So I had to decide....

and here I am studying Public Administration in the best university of the country. I really miss Dance, I really miss the sensation, to feel like a real ballerina. I think I never been so happy. I would really like to feel that way again.

The most beautiful thing in the world: Dance <3 <3 <3
